Cookie policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small amounts of information which are stored on your computer, phone, tablet or any other device and which the server can retrieve later to remember certain information. This information allows us to identify you as a specific user and to save your personal preferences, as well as technical information such as visits, or time spent browsing the website. Using this information, the server where the website is located can recognize the browser you are using, allowing you, for example, to navigate various areas of the website without having to log in on each visit, and can also remember your language preferences, country, and other details on future visits. This information can also be used to measure audience and traffic parameters on the website and to show you customized advertising based on your browsing habits.

2. Who uses cookie information?

JT International Iberia, S.L.U. (“JTI”) and other third parties use, on www.ploomcrew.es (the “Platform”), the cookies described in the table included in section 5. “What cookies are used on the Platform?” of this Cookie Policy. This table also names the external entities that use the information stored in the cookies managed by third parties.

3. What types of cookies are used on the Platform and for what purposes?

JTI and other third parties use the following types of cookies on the Platform for the purposes set forth below:

Technical or functional cookies (necessary): enable navigation across the Platform and use of the various options or services available, while also ensuring the proper functioning of the site. These cookies make it possible, for example, to control traffic and data communication, identify the session, allow entry to restricted areas, remember certain information relating to a purchase, complete the purchase process, manage payment, control fraud linked to the security of the service, count visits for the purpose of billing licenses for the software with which the service operates, use security features while browsing, store contents for the broadcasting of videos or sound, or enable dynamic contents (e.g. animation when loading a text or image).

Statistical or analytical cookies: allow us to monitor and analyze the behavior of users of the Platform. The information gathered by these cookies is used to measure levels of activity on the Platform, so that improvements can then be made following an analysis of the usage data of users of the service. These cookies analyze the number of visitors to the Platform and to different sections of it. They also tell us about where users are visiting from, the date and time, the platform they are using, the number of clicks on a banner, and the search words entered by users to find the content they are after. Therefore, they are very useful in allowing JTI to make improvements to the Platform and to know the relevance of certain contents or design for users.

4. How can I manage cookies?

As a user, you may manage your preferences regarding the use of cookies on the Platform at any time, via:

The settings panel enabled by JTI that can be accessed by clicking on the [**] icon.

Other third-party tools, available online, which allow users to detect cookies on each website they visit and disable them if they so wish (e.g. Ghostery).

You can also enable:

Private browsing, whereby your browser will stop saving your browsing history, website passwords, cookies and other information from the pages you visit; or

The “Do Not Track” feature, whereby your browser asks the websites you visit not to track your browsing habits.

Last but not least, please note that you may allow, view, block or delete the cookies installed on your computer or device via your browser settings or the cookies control panel expressly enabled on your browser. As a user, you are free to disable the installation of cookies at any time via your browser settings and delete any cookies previously installed. If you choose not to allow the installation of cookies, you may not be able to access certain features and/or services available via the Platform. As a result, your browsing experience may be less satisfactory.
